'A Dove Has Spread Her Wings and Asks for Peace' (1982) by Maria Primachenko. When Picasso saw her work in Paris in 1936 he said: “I bow down before the artistic miracle of this brilliant Ukrainian.” One year later, he painted his own 'Dove of Peace'
